Tournament Mission 1 - Touchdown.

The OIA is soon going to run a newbie-friendly Infinity tournament in the heart of Ottawa, and I thought I'd post some of the scenarios we'll be using on this blog.  Feel free to use them for your own games or tournaments!

Mission 1 - Touchdown
Turn Limit: 4 full turns.

Setup: objectives are CD-sized.  Place one objective outside each player's deployment zone, centred on the middle line between players.  The outside edge of each objective should be touching the player's deployment zone edge, but the objective itself should not be in the zone.

Place two objectives so that the centre of each objective overlaps the centre line of the board.  Each objective should be on one half of the table (divided down the centre), and the outside edge of each objective should be 12" from the side table edge.  If you look at the objective layout from each deployment zone, the CDs should form a diamond shape.
Terrain can be placed around, but not touching, the objective plates.  Leaving the plates in the open will make for a more interesting game.

Deployment: models cannot deploy or otherwise enter the board directly on an objective plate using Infiltration, Impersonation, Mechanized Deployment, or AD of any level.

Scoring:
At the end of a given player’s turn, that player scores 1 VP for each objective plate he controls.

To control an objective plate, a player must have at least one model completely on the plate without any opposing models also completely on the plate.

Markers cannot control or contest objective plates.

At the end of four full turns, the player with the most VP wins.  If players are tied, the player currently controlling the most objective plates wins.
