Tournament Mission 2 - Grudges.

Mission 2 – Grudges
Turn limit: 4 full turns.

Setup: place a Terminal in the middle of the board, with no Cover within 5" of it.  The Terminal should be about 2"x2"x2".

Deployment: models cannot deploy or otherwise enter the board within 8” of the Computer Terminal.

Scoring:
Whenever one of your models puts an enemy model into the Dead state, place a small token next to your model.  A model may carry any number of tokens.

+2 VP for having the conscious non-equipment model that is closest to the Computer Terminal at the end of the game.

+1 VP for each conscious model with at least one token on it at the end of the game.

Special: if a friendly model puts an enemy model with tokens on it into the Dead state, set that model aside with its tokens.  When scores are counted up, you get +X VP, where X is the number of tokens that were carried by all enemy models you put into the Dead state.

Computer Terminal: this device contains information vital to both sides, and emits an industrial-strength ODF (Optical Disruption Field) to protect it.  Models within the ODF benefit from it (-6 penalty to models shooting at them), no matter which side they’re on.  Models shooting at other models within the ODF do not suffer the -6 penalty.

To check if a model is in the ODF, centre a round template on the Computer Terminal.  If the model is fully within the template, then it benefits from the ODF.

The advanced technology and industrial power source of this ODF mean that no level of visor can negate its penalties, and that it cannot be deactivated by fire ammunition.

Example: PanO’s Fusilier Angus is killed by Yu Jing’s Oniwaban Aoshi.  Fusilier Angus had 2 tokens on him.  When Oniwaban Aoshi kills Angus, Oniwaban Aoshi gets one token.  Aoshi’s player sets aside Angus with the 2 tokens that were on him.

Assuming nothing else happened, VP totals are added up.  Aoshi’s player gets 1 VP (because Aoshi has at least one token on him), +2 VP (Angus was carrying two tokens when he was put into the Dead state), and +2 VP (Aoshi is closest to the Computer Terminal).  The Yu Jing player wins with 5 VP.
