Tournament Mission 2 - Grudges.

Mission 2 – Grudges Turn limit: 4 full turns.

Tournament Mission 1 - Touchdown.

The OIA is soon going to run a newbie-friendly Infinity tournament in the heart of Ottawa, and I thought I'd post some of the scenarios we'll be using on this blog.  Feel free to use them for your own games or tournaments!

The Sophotect Challenge - 4

Image
Ok, I admit it.  I've been painting the Sophotect on the fly while not providing any updates.  In my defence, though, I've been looking and looking for a camera to take pictures of the process, but to no avail.  Either the person I'm looking to borrow a camera from doesn't have time, or his time is limited to when I'm not available.  My own camera is sitting on the shelf, staring at me with a lens contraption that doesn't work.

Unit Spotlight - Yu Jing's Daofei

Let's face it.  Whether we're playing a complicated scenario or a straight-forward slaughterfest, Infiltration is always useful.  It helps our models get where we want them, and it dissuades our enemies from advancing up the field too quickly.  Even the threat of a Rifle shot from a lowly skirmisher is enough to give people pause.

January Model Review

Model reviews are probably going to be a regular thing, as a number of us in the Ottawa gaming community get together and discuss new releases just 'cause.  These discussions get my analytical mind working, so without further ado...

Happy New Year, Infinity players!

A new year is rolling in, and with it, promise of an awesome new book and awesome new models.  Thanks, Corvus Belli, for a fantastic year of minis! Have a wonderful and prosperous new year, Infinity players!

Quick Terrain Reference

Image
A while ago, I made a quick "Guide to Terrain" for LGS use.  I printed out the various terrain descriptions on little cards that could be put next to pieces on the table, and although they haven't seen much use yet, I think they'll start being useful with the large influx of new players that we're seeing. Since I've been working on a tournament for newer players, I've dug up the old file and posted the content up for use.  It's fairly easy to understand, and having a reference sheet on hand is always useful.  Feel free to pillage the text and use it for your own LGS.
