The Human Edge IV

IV Antonio saw Athena smile at him as he returned, and he knew all was not lost in the common room.  First Mate Petyn jerked her thumb at Corvino the technician, and he followed her with short, efficient movements.  They didn’t exchange a single word.

Promises, promises...

A quick post, as I am currently away from my usual setup... I'm a bad, bad blogger.  I said that I'd post a May monthly model review, but I didn't come through. On the plus side, though, I felt so bad about this lapse that I cranked out a much-larger-than-normal chunk of The Human Edge, the serial story I've been publishing here and on the Infinity forums.  It's going through the editing stage, and it should be up by mid-week.

Scenario - Pendulum

Pendulum is a scenario designed to provoke fighting around the middle line, but it also aims to give players a chance to set up interesting maneuvers instead of just storming in to claim a last-minute objective. This game lasts for four full turns. Setup Pendulum has no special setup.  However, at the start of the game, note which models you have on the table.  Markers and G: Synch/Servant remotes do not count. Scoring All players start with 5 VP.  Players gain or lose VP at two distinct times: at the end of the second full game turn, and at the end of the fourth full game turn. As noted above, models that were not on the table at the start of the game do not count for VP at any point during the game.  AD and Camo models may help you strike at your enemy, but they do not help you score VP. Scoring at the end of the second full turn: 1) If you have no models outside both deployment zones, lose 1 VP. 2) If you have 2+ models outside both deployment zones, gain 1 VP. Scori

The Human Edge III

III For all his experience, Antonio Botella had never been this far out before.  He’d never been on a ship quite like this one, either.  For one, there was very little polish to the way things were carried out.  Back home, on NeoTerra, there was a certain decorum to how one boarded a new ship and how one treated one’s fellow passengers. Here, the Everest ’s first mate didn’t even seem to know what the word decorum meant.

Updates!

Life has been busy lately, so I haven't had a chance to post anything this past week. HOWEVER! I've been working on a model review for May, as well as the next part of the Human Edge story.  Both should be out by next Saturday.
